At the Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 December Events Committee meeting, the Cuero Development Corporation presented the committee with a plaque recognizing Cuero’s Christmas in the Park as winner of two categories in the Victoria Advocate’s 2021 Crossroads “Best of the Best”.

The plaque was presented by CDC Administrative Assistant and DEC Secretary Samantha Bayfus (left) and accepted by December Events Committee Chair Pat Villa (center), Vice Chair Angie Cuellar (center-left), and Treasurer Alton Meyer (right), with Board Members (rear, from left to right) Gerald Clark, Kenny Lopez, and Emil Garza. Cuero’s Christmas in the Park has earned the award for Crossroads Best of the Best Holiday Event for ten consecutive years since 2012, as well as the award for Best Festival for the second consecutive year!
